The Human Sponsorship PROJECTION MAPPING

For the 2025 Boston Marathon, presenting partner Bank of America redefined corporate sponsorship by shifting the focus from their brand and elite athletes to the inspiring individuals running for charity. Our strategy integrated every media channel to amplify these runners' missions, culminating in a record-breaking fundraising achievement that generated millions for vital causes and delivered unprecedented real human impact – the highest amount ever raised in the event's history.

Joining GroupeConnect, I supported the team by taking the initial concept and a collection of assets through to execution as a compelling 10-minute light show in collaboration with our production partners, Bermuda. The iconic Fairmont Copley Hotel at the marathon's finish line served as the perfect backdrop for this most prominent communication: a spectacular display spanning nearly 100 by 250 feet.

This vibrant show celebrated the year's incredible fundraising athletes and the compelling stories driving them. Importantly, viewers could directly contribute to these runners' charities via an interactive element that included a live donation meter, visually demonstrating the campaign's growing collective impact.
